Keezy takes a stroll

It was a very fine spring day and my lady had to take a long drive up to The City and she took Kezia along.  Keezy rides in her safety seat.

One of the things my lady likes to do when she is coming back from the busy city is to stop off at her favorite park.  Keezy is learning that this is a fun place to go!

There are many trails but the ones they went on today are usually not so busy.  The last time they went walking on a Sunday there were people with LOOSE DOGS and this was not good.  You can't see it in the photos very well but Keezy is on her leash.  All dogs are supposed to be leashed in this park but there are always some people that don't follow the rules.

There was also a running race going on and my lady noticed that on the paths where the racers had been there was GARBAGE.  There were drinking stations with plastic cups along the route and as the runners drank they just tossed the cups down on the ground.  Some around the drinking area but others along the trail!

Where the racers were NOT was very quiet and pleasant.

Thistle used to go on these walks but in his older age he's gotten very aggressive towards dogs he doesn't know and he'd really like to eat bicycles.  He gets to walk around here but doesn't go out in public much anymore.  Ting can't manage the trails.  She likes to potter up and down the driveway or along one small trail at home.

I'd sure like to go to that park!  Look at all that stuff to EAT!

That looks like a wonderful day! Shame on those racers for leaving their trash! We had a bike marathon here over the weekend and they left their signs all over the road sides, maybe some one will come and get them,I hope.

Isn't it wonderful that Keezy can run now? And don't you hate those people who think they are exempt from the rules. What a lovely park. I can see why you like it.
